Inland a name to reckon with among the business community in the eastern part of the country made its presence felt in the seventies in the State of West Bengal. The group has been founded and spearheaded by a visionary and an illuminate Sh. Chunni Lal Somani.
By virtue and by dint of sheer hard work, his pioneering and untiring efforts bore the fruits of setting up a vast empire and making its presence felt in all-major cities and towns of India.

Introduction
In its early days, Inland commenced business with couriers, gradually went into transportation. Further diversification in tea plantation, chemicals, jewellery, amusement park, bottling (KINLEY), real estates development and investments created a strong portfolio.
The group has grown of under the supervision and enabling guidance of the group’s founder Sh. Chunni Lal Somani, due to strict and severe perseverance by his sons Sh. Laxmi Narayan Somani, Sh. Ratan Kr Somani, Sh. Shyam Sunder Somani & Sh. Radha Kishan Somani. This team has been the main inspiration behind laying a concrete foundation of the group.
Youth and dynamism are the hallmarks of a successful business house, with the next generation of family members entering the group with specialized pre & post graduation degrees. Adding to the charm by taking charge of key portfolios and catapulting the businesses to unfathomed heights.

Vision, Plans & Philosophy

Development, diversification and expansion have been the key elements of the fruitful growth and sustenance of the group. Some major significant plans are now on the anvil. The group has initiated concrete steps to tie-up with major multi-national companies to venture into the fields of beverages, food products, consumer items and the likes.
